FURNISHED STUDIO RENTAL PARIS

Whether you’re coming to Paris for a long-term or short-term trip, a furnished studio rental Paris may be just the ticket to helping you enjoy the city in ways you never imagined.

Cost is usually a factor in any trip. The more you have to spend on “the basics,” the less you have for fun expenses like shopping, dining and all of the wonderful things Paris has to offer. An apartment usually represents a noteworthy savings over a hotel, just in terms of nightly cost.

But the savings go further than the cost of the residence itself. Your own Paris vacation rental means having a kitchen of your own, which means you can prepare some meals at home. Instead of paying for every meal, from breakfast to dinner, you can save money for select fine dining experiences. Not to mention gifts for loved ones, and little treasures for yourself.

Where you stay in Paris has everything to do with you: Your tastes and personality. Paris has a little of everything, from the traditional to modern, the most lavish to the most economical, and many points in-between.

Those of an artistic bent may be drawn to historical epicenters for the arts, such as the Montmartre on the Right Bank, home to many famous artists of the 20th century, or the Montparnasse on the Left Bank, a slightly more genteel area that also figures prominently in the history of art.

Writers and those involved in publishing will probably want to look first in the St. Germain area in the 6th, located between the Eiffel Tower and the Latin Quarter. The St. Germain is the home of the famous Deux Magots Café (which still serves patrons), where Sartre wrote his existentialist works and luminaries such as Hemingway remodeled modern literature.

Of course, writers may also gravitate to the Latin Quarter, where many poets still live today. The cafés are filled with the excited din of students from the many nearby universities, just as it was in the Middle Ages, when the Latin spoken by the scholars and students earned this area its name.

Many furnished Paris apartments long term can whisk you away to the area that feels like the best fit for you.

Family-friendly residential areas include (but are by no means limited to) the 15th and 14th, filled with parks, squares and shady afternoons. But you may also wish to consider areas such as the 10th, with its strong community spirit. The 10th means walks along the Canal St. Martin (closed to vehicles on weekends), as well as rollerblading and bicycling. Rents tend to be more affordable here than in the 14th and 15th, and you’ll enjoy watching the boats navigate the locks as was depicted in the movie Amelie.

Several districts in Paris are student-friendly: many students live in the 5th, 6th, 11th, 13th, 15th,  In these areas, and in many other places too, you can rent a student apartment in Paris.

If you love shopping for gourmet groceries, Paris is famous for its open air markets and gourmet food shops. Fauchon is perhaps the best known of these. The original location is in the Place de la Madeleine in the 8th arrondissement. In the nearby 9th, there’s an entire floor dedicated solely to gourmet treats in the world-famous Galeries Lafayette. There are literally entire aisle dedicated to mustard, or other specific food items.

The Rue Mouffetard in the Latin Quarter has shops, cafés and regular open air markets to enjoy. The street has been a thoroughfare since Neolithic times. It was Roman corridor and has much of its medieval feel intact. Across the Seine, on the Right Bank, the Rue Montorgueil is a charming pedestrian area with a very famous bakery, La Maison Stohrer, which opened for business in 1730. One of the oldest bakeries in the city, the “baba au rhum” was invented here more than 275 years ago!

Of course, there are countless markets and gourmet shops to explore. Another you may consider is nestled behind the Palais Royal.

Your search for the perfect furnished apartment will take you through many charming, available apartments in Paris, in many Paris neighborhoods.

Feel free to browse online to find a place that speaks to your soul as well as more practical considerations.
